The anticipation was in the air yesterday as the newly renovated Kopachuck Middle School and Key Peninsula Middle School opened their doors to parents and incoming students for open house events. On Wednesday, August 30th, these schools showcased their transformed classrooms and rejuvenated learning spaces, giving everyone a sneak peek into the innovative environments that await them as the new academic year approaches. 🏫✏️
the Peninsula School District has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service for our school's athletic departments' needs. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. FinalForms is being used at all our middle schools for fall sports. High school families should expect to begin using FinalForms when the Winter Sports season begins. All parents of athletes will use FinalForms.
As we gear up for another exciting school year, we want to remind you about an important opportunity that goes beyond just meals. Now is the time to apply for the Free/Reduced Meals Application for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. This program offers a wide range of benefits that extend far beyond the cafeteria.
Starting next school year, 2023-2024, all public high school students enrolled in College in the High School courses will be able register to earn college credit at no cost to the student or school. College in the High School will be FREE! As outlined in our five year strategic plan, the Peninsula School District has committed to creating equitable and inclusive learning environments for every child in our schools. To help us reach this goal, PSD will provide all basic educational school supplies to our K-12 students at no cost to families during the 2023-2024 school year. Kopachuck Middle School students participated in the South Puget Sound Regional Competition for #NationalHistoryDay on Saturday, March 25. Seventh grade students showcased their documentaries, exhibits, performances, papers, and websites they created around the 2023 theme of “Frontiers of History: People, Places, and Ideas.”
Nearly 200 6th - 8th grade female students from the Peninsula School District came together for the 2023 CAPE event on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at Harbor Ridge Middle School.
CAPE (Career and Pathway Expo) is a chance for female students to explore multiple STEM careers from local women professionals during a half-day expo. It’s one of the most fun events of the year!

Now is the time to sign-up for C.A.P.E. 2023, which is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Peninsula School District female students.
Career and Pathway Expor (C.A.P.E) is a one-day event in January where female students can attend workshops on engineering, medical and health sciences, and animal sciences.
This year C.A.P.E will take place from 8:45 a.m - 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023 at Harbor Ridge Middle School. The cost is $15 per student. Fees can be waived for students who qualify for free and reduced lunch.
