Kopachuck Middle School students participated in the South Puget Sound Regional Competition for #NationalHistoryDay on Saturday, March 25. Seventh grade students showcased their documentaries, exhibits, performances, papers, and websites they created around the 2023 theme of “Frontiers of History: People, Places, and Ideas.”

The Peninsula School District, in partnership with Tom Taylor YMCA and Resurrection Church, invites families to attend “Parents’ Tech Night” from 6 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 23.
This free event, hosted at Tom Taylor YMCA, will help equip parents with resources to help their kids engage with technology in healthy, helpful ways. There will be information and discussion about safe use of smartphones, online videos, and more!
Nearly 200 6th - 8th grade female students from the Peninsula School District came together for the 2023 CAPE event on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at Harbor Ridge Middle School.
CAPE (Career and Pathway Expo) is a chance for female students to explore multiple STEM careers from local women professionals during a half-day expo. It’s one of the most fun events of the year!

Now is the time to sign-up for C.A.P.E. 2023, which is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Peninsula School District female students.
Career and Pathway Expor (C.A.P.E) is a one-day event in January where female students can attend workshops on engineering, medical and health sciences, and animal sciences.
This year C.A.P.E will take place from 8:45 a.m - 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023 at Harbor Ridge Middle School. The cost is $15 per student. Fees can be waived for students who qualify for free and reduced lunch.

Elementary and middle school parent-teacher conferences are next week from Monday, Oct. 24 to Friday, Oct. 28.
Because conferences will be held in the afternoon, all elementary and middle schools will have half-days next week. High schools will have regular, full school days. There is no late start for any school on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

- The first fair event is from 5 - 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Gig Harbor High School.
- The second fair event is from 5 - 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Peninsula High School.
PSD is hosting the college and career fair twice this fall for all families with 6th through 12th grade students. Over 50 colleges and vendors will be available to offer assistance, information, and answer your questions.
Join PSD and Goodman Middle School for a presentation titled "Digital Wellness - Helping Children Succeed in an Increasing Digital World" from 6 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
This presentation will share ideas and strategies you can use to help your children build the skills necessary to grow up in a digital world.
Peninsula School District is excited to announce Mrs. Kelsey Parke has been selected as the new principal at Kopachuck Middle School. She will begin her role as the lead Coyote on
July 1.
As the school year closes, we are already looking forward to welcoming students for the next school year! Peninsula School District will be in-person, full-time with optional mask choice and no required COVID-19 immunizations.
The 2022-2023 school year starts Wednesday, August 31, for students in grades 1-12. Kindergarten students start on Tuesday, September 6.
