School News
Our students are on a mission to create a legacy of respect and sportsmanship this year, and they're counting on the support of their amazing fans!
This school year, PSD implemented a new technology policy that will enhance the educational experience for every child by restricting the use of personal devices such as cell phones during school hours. 📱🚫
To help everyone understand when it's appropriate to use their phones and when it's time to put them away, our talented students from Gig Harbor and Peninsula High schools have created a wonderful PSA video! 🎥💡 We are incredibly proud of their dedication and creativity. 👏
School supplies for PSD students are being delivered this week to our schools, marking a significant stride towards fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments.
Each student will receive a curated kit of supplies, tailored to their grade level's needs. 📝 ✏️ 🖍️
The anticipation was in the air yesterday as the newly renovated Kopachuck Middle School and Key Peninsula Middle School opened their doors to parents and incoming students for open house events. On Wednesday, August 30th, these schools showcased their transformed classrooms and rejuvenated learning spaces, giving everyone a sneak peek into the innovative environments that await them as the new academic year approaches. 🏫✏️
the Peninsula School District has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service for our school's athletic departments' needs. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. FinalForms is being used at all our middle schools for fall sports. High school families should expect to begin using FinalForms when the Winter Sports season begins. All parents of athletes will use FinalForms.
As we gear up for another exciting school year, we want to remind you about an important opportunity that goes beyond just meals. Now is the time to apply for the Free/Reduced Meals Application for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. This program offers a wide range of benefits that extend far beyond the cafeteria.
