Home of the Coyotes

October 2, 2026
The Kopachuck building features a modern blue facade with wood accents and large windows.

Dear Kopachuck Families,

Wow, it’s hard to believe we are already a month into the school year, September has flown by!

I’ve  been able to spend time in classrooms, and it’s been wonderful to see the great learning taking place. This year, we’ve launched a new math curriculum, and students are not only working hard with it but also enjoying much of the content. I’ve also been impressed with how well our students are collaborating and working together in groups.  We are also piloting a couple of new science curriculums which I am excited to see the kids engage in this year.

Looking ahead, at the end of this month we will be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences are a valuable time to learn more about what your student is doing in class, to celebrate their successes, and to discuss areas for growth and support, both at school and at home. We’ll be sending out information soon about how to sign up for a conference.
Thank you for all your support as we kick off this school year, it makes a big difference for our students and staff.

Warmly,
Joshua Emmons
Principal

Conference and Bell Schedule

Conferences will be held at the end of the month on Monday, October 26th, Wednesday, October 28th, and Thursday, October 29th. Conferences are a wonderful opportunity to connect with your student’s teachers, celebrate areas of success, and discuss areas for growth.
We will once again be using an arena-style format in the Commons. In the next couple of weeks, you’ll receive a sign-up form that will allow you to select an hour block that works best for your family.
We look forward to seeing you there and working together to support your student’s success!

No School on the 12th of October

Reminder: There will be no school on Monday, October 12th due to a professional development day for staff. Enjoy the long weekend!

Concessions During Sporting Events

This is an example of a sentence to begin a paragraph. This year, we are excited to offer concessions at all of our home athletic events! Students and families will be able to purchase snacks and drinks after school and while watching our Coyotes compete.
Please note that all concession purchases must be made with cash. We are unable to accept credit or debit cards.
All proceeds from concessions go directly back to our students through ASB and help support student activities, programs, and opportunities throughout the school year.
We hope you’ll stop by the concession stand, grab a snack, and support our Coyotes!

Wrestling Coach

Looking for a Way to Get Involved?

We are looking for two wrestling coaches to support our Coyote wrestlers during the upcoming season!

We would love to have you join our team and help support our student-athletes!

Transportation and Early Pickup Reminders

Bus/Transportation Changes
Students must have a note from the office to get off at a different stop on their regular bus or to ride a different bus. Please call in transportation changes before lunch so we can get the note to your student during lunch.

Early Pickups
Even if your student knows they're being picked up, they still need an early dismissal note from the office before leaving class.

• Picking up before lunch? A paper note sent with your student that morning is the most reliable way to ensure a timely dismissal note.
• Picking up after lunch? Please call or message the office before lunch so we can get the note to your student during the lunch period.

Please note that calling classrooms when a parent arrives unannounced can be a significant disruption to instruction. Whenever possible, we ask that pickups be arranged ahead of time so we can have your student ready to go.

Thanks for helping us keep students safe and the office running smoothly!

Important Announcement: Student ID Cards & Bus Ridership Program

  • Daily Requirement: Students must bring their ID card to school every day.
  • Uses: The ID card is used both to purchase school lunch and to scan on and off the bus every morning and afternoon.
  • Forgotten Cards: If a student forgets their ID card, they must report to the main office in the morning to get a temporary bus pass from Mrs. Karry.
